Peaceful and traditional Japanese style hotem Amazing location, onsen and bathroom facilities, plenty of options, and amenities. Free laundry machines (dryer is 100yen for 20 minutes) in both the laundry room and inside the women's SPA. Everyone was super nice, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was something out of this world. Imagine a high-quality japanese + Western breakfast buffet... everything from fruits, breads, sushi, tempura to matcha and coffee lattes, juices, etc! The breakfast was crowded, so we had to line up, but their waiting system works well and it ended being 12-15min wait time. It's not a small hotel, so you will often bump into people here and there. The cool thing is that everyone wears their kimono and walks bare feet.. We also loved the free stuff they gave out during the day, such as Yakult, Popsicles, and Soba at night. Great great addition and makes you want to hang out at the hotel. 👍🏻 We tried to extend our stay, but they were already sold out. Too bad, now we need to return soon! :)

The staff were very friendly at check in and other times. The room was excellent and the bed was comfortable. I wish I could have stayed there longer. The onsen seems to have been an actual hot spring and temporarily helped with my sensitive, dry skin. Some instructions such as for the onsen for example could be a bit more clear or in depth as it was my first time and had no idea what to take or do. The spa addition to the hotel is a bit cheeky. There is no massage or treatments available for the hotel as it says there is. You can book treatments into your room with a third party. Being jet-lagged and aching from hauling around my luggage, I needed a massage. But without a Japanese phone number it seems I was not able to arrange it with them. Having looked it up further I am not even sure if it's not a skeezy company or at least might have hired out to a local disreputable company. Either way asking for help with the staff got me nowhere with this either.

The hotel was truly beautiful, and the room we stayed in was spacious and very comfortable, which we really appreciated. The onsen on the top floor was a lovely experience, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The front desk team was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and we were pleased to find that everyone was fluent in English, making it easy for us to ask any questions or make inquiries. For those with tattoos, please note that you are allowed to use the onsen; however, you will need to use tattoo patches, which are available at the front desk. Although we didn't use a car during our stay, we did notice that the hotel offers parking. If you're planning to rent a car, I recommend contacting the hotel in advance, as parking spaces are limited.

The shared facilities and our room were very clean. Shoes are to be removed before entering the main lobby - there were clear instructions in English and easy to use lockers. We took advantage of the laundry room - they were easy to use and washing was free! The onsen and locker rooms were very nice and clean and not too busy in the early morning (when our jetlagged bodies were awake!). The location was great for exploring the nearby park, gardens, and market. It was also close to restaurants, and the Kanazawa station. This was one of our favorite places to stay on our trip to Japan.

This was my favorite hotel during my japan trip. You take off the shoes at the entrance and can walk inside either barefoot or with socks so that all the floors in the entire hotel are clean. I really liked that. The Spa with onsen, sauna and ice bath on the roof were absolutely great. THere is even a small outside area which was great to cool down after sauna (in January). The breakfast buffet was great, definitely worth the money, although it does get a bit repetitive (always the same food) if you stay there longer.
